The Louva Earrings are long double chain earrings featuring a handcrafted resin pearl that seals a strand of your horse's hair. 

  • Total Length: 8cm (including pearl)
  • Materials: Gold-Plated/925 Sterling Silver (100% nickel-free). Jewelry-grade resin. Hypoallergenic.
  • Custom Bead Color: Please leave your color choice in the personalization box at checkout.

Important: Your purchase initiates the custom process. After checkout, you'll receive detailed instructions on how to prepare and send your horse's hair, which we must receive before production can begin.

Each piece of jewelry is meticulously handmade, so every bead is one-of-a-kind. Due to the custom and handcrafted nature of our creations, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds.

Please Note: Each piece is unique. Variations in the beads and texture are inherent to the artisanal process and are not considered flaws.

Shipping & Delivery

Sending Us Your Horse Hair

  • Shipping Cost: The customer covers the cost of shipping the hair to our studio.
  • Shipping Methods:
    Parcel Shop (Recommended):     Please address your parcel to DZYZ and ship it to a pick-up point at Kvickly Holte or Holte Kiosk.
    Studio Drop-off (By Appointment): Our studio address is in your confirmation email. Please contact us in advance to schedule a drop-off time.

Receiving Your Finished Jewelry

  • Shipping: The cost to ship your finished jewelry and remaining horse hair back to you is added to your order at checkout.
  • Local Pickup: Available by arrangement at no extra cost. We will notify you when your order is ready for collection.

Care Instructions

To preserve your jewelry, please avoid:

  • Submerging it in water (remove when showering, swimming).
  • Contact with chemicals (perfumes, lotions, hairspray).
  • Scratching or harsh impacts.
  • Prolonged sun exposure to prevent resin yellowing over time. Store in a soft, dry pouch when not in wear.

Creation Process & Timeline

  • 1. Place Order

    Once your order is confirmed, you will receive instructions on how to ship your horse hair to us. Your customization details (like bead color) will be finalized at this stage.

  • 2. Ship Hair

    You send your horse hair to a designated parcel shop (Pakkeshop) or deliver it to our studio by prior arrangement.

  • 3. Creation

    Your spot in the queue is secured once your hair arrives at our studio. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for the careful handcrafting of your piece.*

  • 4. Delivery

    Your finished jewelry and the remainder of your horse hair is shipped back to you. You will receive a tracking number.

*Please note: As soon as the creation process has begun, the design cannot be changed. The process of encapsulating your horse's hair in resin is permanent and irreversible.

Bead Color

Your Custom Bead:
To create your one-of-a-kind piece, we need your horse's hair and your color choice.

  • Bead Color: Please state your desired resin color at checkout. If no color is chosen, we will contact you after your hair arrives.
  • Special Requests: For any complex customizations, please describe them in the same box. Note that these may incur an additional fee, for which we will seek your approval.

Guide to prepare

Hair Instructions

Quantity: Please provide at least 10 strands of hair, each 20-30 cm long. Sending a few extra strands is greatly appreciated, as it allows us to select the best hair for a perfect bead. Any unused hair will be carefully returned to you with your finished jewelry.

Type: Mane hair is preferred. Tail hair is acceptable, but please select the finest strands.

Packaging: Securely place the hair in a ziplock bag with your order number and full name written on a piece of paper inside.
